Cured of Pottermania?

Today, at 03:15 p.m. CET I was through, too. Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollows released me again on page 607 of the British Bloomsbury edition. I didn't read any newspaper nor did I spot the internet because I didn't want my fun to be spoiled. And indeed, the first really blunt leak was out on the English edition of Wikipedia already on Friday, 07:15 p.m. (which time zone, by the way?). Luckily the German Wikipedia was locked against editorial vandalism, so the first leak appeared on Saturday, 09:24 a.m. CET. Sometimes I wonder what those kids did all the time - search the book to be the first to post it on Wikipedia? Without "reading" it? Why did they ruin the fun for themselves? "For the Greater Good"? I've had my fun, and now I'm gonna revise the current versions of the articles...

Ah, you ask whether it is a good read? YES!

"New Labour" like it could have been

Oh, what a beautiful time!

Ms Smith said she had smoked it "just a few times," had "not particularly" enjoyed it and had not taken any other illegal drugs.

LOL! Great! This reads a lot like the famous "I never inhaled" - and it finally brings some touch of reality to the politics of Britain. Hello! Just a short reminder: The 60s have past (LSD?), the 70s have past (Cannabis, LSD, and whatever natural drug you can imagine), the 80 have past (cocaine, isn't it), and even the 90s have past (I only say "Rave"). And over all those years no one ever confessed he's been young as well?!

Imagine, what the full last ten years might have looked like! With a New Labour true not only to their roots but also with a certain realistic approach. Phh!

(For all lazy bastards, here's what SpOn writes in German: Britische Regierung: Haschisch-Beichte der Innenministerin

When we were young!

TIAMAT on their 1995 tour - which I sorrowfully missed to finally see them - well, was it 1996 or 1997? But I know someone, who was on this tour...

Emperial

Musikfotografie/

photographed music

Unglaublich!

This is the best fucking live pic I have seen for ages: Fotographer/graphic artist/musician Niklas Sundin captured this rare moment of a Samoth totally lost in his tunes:
