Rich Ward from STUCK MOJO is back

I just found out - do you remember STUCK MOJO? The band that died trying 'bout 4 years ago? They seem to have a DVD out now and distribute it by themselves. And, even better, Rich Ward has his own new project. God news for good music!

Writing a novel...

Does this work? I doubt it. Nevertheless, I'm thinking about...

KREATOR: Mille in the torture chamber

Let's say, it was yesterday, because there's still an amount of i-don't-know in this ;-) KREATOR presented their upcoming album to the press in the Hamburg Dungeon. Let me tell you something about the dungeon: It stinks! If you're on a tourist tour through it you just might recognize it as an additional feature - but it's getting painful if there is a huge buffet and you are invited to eat. Due to circumstances I only got a glimpse and some tortilla chips from the buffet and that's it, so... By the way, I think they extra-invented a mixture of rancid fat and honey for the stink. And, next fact to be added: The background noise sucks when you sober, but completely pissed it's quite bizarr to head out for the lavatory and listen to drunken mermaids or whatever. The record of the official listening thing was posted early yesterday at Metal-Inside.de and later on Blabbermouth. On a more partying issue: Andy and Alex, you rule! In the end: I did not recognise the earthquake. Ironically enough the epi-center has been the little village where our former trainee Hinnerk is living.

Make a Night-wish

The Opening party for the fan club of Timo Rautiainen ja Trio Niskalaukaus was a huge success, to be measured in alcohol, new fans and fun. Check out the label of Trio Niskalaukaus as well: Cyclone Empire The concert of Nightwish, Sonata Arctica and Timo Rautiainen ja Trio Niskalaukaus was a huge success as well, I went there with Christine. The concert review is up here. Cheers to Meikel & Angie by the way.

Home, sweet home page

First of all - I got a new Homepage, so that this all makes sense once again. I nailed it all down in the night from sunday to monday - hey, and i love my new layout ;-) And here's now all the updates to the BLOG...

Zungenbrecher (english, finnish)

Tonight the 1st official german Fan Club for Timo Rautiainen & Trio Niskalaukaus will open. It's called HARTES LAND. The opening ceremony will take part at "The Other Place" in Hamburg, Davidstr. crossing Herbertstrasse. Be there!

Facing exams

I'm just typing - or hoping that I do... - the last few phrases for a essay for university. It's a review about the book "The Ottoman Empire. The classical age 1300-1600" of Halil Inalcik. Puh! Never took me so long to read one (!) book, which was written so well. So packed with information! Only two more phrases, and some spelling check, then the review is done. Musically spoken: The recent CRADLE OF FILTH still kicks major ass. You may read my interview with Dave if you know a little German. At least: It is metal! And, to piss "someone" off a bit (greetz to Columbia ;-) Look at those nice pics on the official CRADLE page. Look, who's giving huggies: www.cradleoffilth.com/cof/adrian_photos_25.htm and www.cradleoffilth.com/cof/james_5.htm

watch st. helens

I'm pretty occupied with my university exams, but it's very exciting to watch this natural wonder: www.fs.fed.us/gpnf/volcanocams/msh/. With a short look on the map I found out that it's not _this_ far from Seattle. Greetings to the guys in Nevermore, I presume you're having a marvellous sunrise now? It will take some days til we get all the things summing up for a marvellous sundown in Germany, I think ;-) And don't go hiking... The host.
